Cancellations & Missed Appointments
1. Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you can’t attend your appointment.
2. Missed Appointments
Repeated failure to attend may mean we cannot continue your treatment or offer NHS care in the future.
3. Hygienist/ Deposit Appointments
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required.
If you miss or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, your full deposit will be charged.
4. Missed or Late-Cancelled Appointments (NHS)
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel.
NHS patients who fail to attend or cancel at short notice cannot be charged.
Patients who miss or late-cancel an appointment will be warnedthat further missed appointments may result in withdrawal of NHS treatment at this practice.
Late arrival where treatment cannot be carried out will be treated as a failed appointment.
Discretion will be applied on a case-by-case basis where appropriate justification is provided.
